Disney fans should be getting excited for all of the wonderful and amazing films that will be coming out in 2019. Between Marvel hits, Star Wars flicks, Disney princess films, long-awaited sequels, and new favorites, Disney is really leading the pack with great movies. So get your calendars ready because there are a lot of great ones coming.

Here all the Disney movies coming out in 2019...

1 "Captain Marvel" - March 8

Disney is starting off with its first female-led Marvel film. Captain Marvel follows the story of Carol Danvers, an ex-Air Force pilot whose DNA gets infused with Kree DNA, giving her superhuman strength and powers. She finds herself at odds after returning to Earth with her new powers and a hazy memory of her childhood.

2 "Dumbo" - March 29

A live-action retelling of the Disney animated classic, a former circus star becomes the caretaker for an elephant with oversized ears. However, when it is discovered that his ears actually allow him to fly, he becomes an overnight sensation.

3 "Disneynature's Penguins" - April 19

In honor of Earth Day, Disneynature will be releasing Penguins, which follows Steve as he finds a mate and starts his life as an adult.

4 "Avengers: End Game" - April 26

After the end of Infinity War, the remaining Avengers must reunite and figure out a way to take out Thanos and bring their loved ones back. It'll likely be the last film for some of the original characters and will serve as the ending of Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

5 "Aladdin" - May 24

The live-action version of the Disney animated classic, the film follows Aladdin, a street rat who lives in the great city of Agrabah. When a mysterious man gives him the chance of a lifetime to change his life, he sets off on a new adventure to save the city that once ignored him.

6 "Toy Story 4" - June 21

The highly-anticipated film in the Toy Story series, the fourth movie follows Woody and Buzz as they are reunited with Bo Peep. After many years apart, they realize how different they truly are as they set out to find out what it means to really be a toy.

7 "The Lion King" - July 19

This CGI remake follows Simba after the loss of his father takes him on a journey as he finds out more about his true self and what it takes to be king of the Pride Lands.

8 "Artemis Fowl" - August 9

The best-selling YA novel is finally being adapted for the big screen. Artemis Fowl is a young criminal genius who discovers the secret underground world of fairies. Using his knowledge and his skills, he sets off on a mission to try to rob them and restore his family's fortune.

9 "Frozen 2" - November 22

10 "Star Wars: Episode IX" - December 20

As with past films, details for the new film are being kept under lock and key. But, fans can expect a heart-thrilling finale to the third trilogy in the Star Wars universe.
